So who is this Kevin McKeever?

Before starting his own business, Kevin helped create
the employee communications program for an international
Fortune 200 company.

He successfully managed that program for nearly nine years,
the last three of which he did so as a telecommuter ... 1,500 miles
away from the corporate office.

During that time, he:
    
  • Served as the primary writer for organizational communications from the CEO and COO
  • Created and managed its award-winning print newsletter and its biweekly e-letter
  • Led efforts to re-design its intranet that increased its usage by 50 percent in its first year
  • Oversaw writing and production of benefits communications and orientation materials
  • Wrote many successful local, regional and national news releases
  • Supported crisis communications, public relations, marketing and event planning efforts

Prior to that, Kevin spent 10 years as a journalist for daily newspapers. He won several state-wide awards for features writing and general reporting during those years. His publication credits include The Associated Press, The Los Angeles Time/Washington Post News Service, The Dallas Morning News, The Charlotte Observer, Hartford (Conn.) Courant, The (Stamford, Conn.) Advocate and Greenwich (Conn.) Time.

In between, Kevin had a one-year stint at a small public relations company. While there, he:

  • Managed business-to-business accounts, totaling $700,000 worth of annual business
  • Founded and served as editor for a national newsletter for leading U.S. plastics manufacturer
  • Led media and PR efforts for a successful legislative issues campaign
