Before starting his own business, Kevin helped create the employee communications program for Centex Homes, a Top 3 residential builder in the United States at the time. He successfully managed that program for nearly nine years, the last three of which he did as a telecommuter ... 1,500 miles away from the corporate office.

Served as the primary writer for organizational communications from the CEO and COO
Created and managed its award-winning print newsletter and its biweekly e-letter
Led efforts to re-design its intranet that increased its usage by 50 percent in its first year
Oversaw writing and production of benefits communications and orientation materials
Wrote many successful local, regional and national news releases
Supported crisis communications, public relations, marketing and event planning efforts
Prior to that, Kevin spent 10 years as a journalist for daily newspapers. He won several state-wide awards for features writing and general reporting during those years. His publication credits include The Associated Press, The Los Angeles Time/Washington Post News Service, The Dallas Morning News, The Charlotte Observer, Hartford (Conn.) Courant, The (Stamford, Conn.) Advocate and Greenwich (Conn.) Time.
